splodging

of materials creates a kind of calamity; an aftermath of the painterly act and its' material residue.

Oozlification reflects how the space has been transformed as layers of materials have mutated through randomness of gesture and the force of gravity.

Through this process of making, the installation has evolved with painting becoming sculptural and both becoming hybrid; a sort of paintsculptstallation.
